Lauren Fredericks is an ambitious journalist of Chicago that travels to Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, to investigate the murders and disappearances of hundreds of women. While she is there, she is visited by her old colleague, Diaz, who works in a small local newspaper. Lauren and Diaz will be surrounded by a dark world of murders.
